Every day we have to understand what 21 creative staff are doing with their time. Are they busy? Who is open?

Above, my prototype for better visualizing my department’s daily workload: staple a piece of bubble wrap on top of a grid with each staff member’s name and hour slot. For each hour scheduled, the project manager would pop a bubble on the bubble wrap. Once popped, the writer or designer is scheduled.

Seems like the most satisfying way possible to assign work.
